Beginning Mon., Aug. 24, 2026 and extending through approximately the third week of November, Medina Library will undergo a roof replacement resulting in limited parking access. Both parking lots on the east side of the building will be closed. The parking lot near the main entrance will be available. Handicapped accessible parking will not be impacted. Traffic will be exclusively one-way through the library parking lot with entry only from S. Broadway St. to S. Jefferson St., exiting past Dominics's Italian Restaurant (see map below). Please do not park in the restaurant parking lot when visiting the library.
Please plan accordingly when attending library events and advise meeting room guests of this change. Alternate parking options include but are not limited to:
- Medina Courthouse Parking Garage, access from Liberty St. or Washington St.
- Garfield School Lot, access from Smith Rd.
- Street parking, if available

MCDL has six locations and a Bookmobile with a shared collection, consistent services, and open hours. Holds can be reset to other locations for pick up. Consider visiting other locations during this time.
- Shop the Collection lets you request a staff member gather library items for you to pick up in a locker or curbside.
- Anytime Lockers and Curbside Service allow for pick-ups without entering the library. Call 330-725-0588 to have your reserved items put in a locker for 24/7 access of arrange for a staff member to bring items to your car during open hours.
- Return most library items at Medina Buehler's Fresh Foods locations. Both have a book drop at their customer service desk book. Items are returned to Medina Library the following day. Don't forget! Library items can be returned to any MCDL bookdrop 24/7.
